Biography

Mike Koglin, born Michael Koglin in Germany, is a DJ and producer known for his contributions to electronic music. His early career included several underground releases leading up to his breakthrough in 1998 with the single "The Silence", a remake of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence”, which reached number 20 on the UK Singles Chart. This success led to a long run of collaborations and official remixes for high-profile artists such as Dido, George Michael, and Paul Oakenfold. Koglin has released multiple long-form projects, including the album Circuits (2004) and later EPs such as Antidote (2009) and Metronomic (2011). His production work also includes engineering and co-production roles across a wide range of electronic releases. Koglin hosts his own radio show Every Direction, aired monthly on DI.fm and other international stations. He has developed online courses for Point Blank Music School, where he also serves as an instructor. Having lived in London for over two decades, Koglin now resides and works in Berlin, Germany.
