Adi Meyerson, an American-Israeli jazz bassist, composer, and educator, was born on January 26, 1991, in San Francisco. At age two, she moved to Jerusalem. Meyerson began playing electric bass guitar during high school before transitioning to double bass after graduation. She moved to New York City in 2012 to study at The New School and later earned a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music in 2020. Meyerson's debut album, Where We Stand, was released on June 5, 2018. Her sophomore album, I Want to Sing My Heart Out in Praise of Life, followed in 2021. She has performed at notable jazz clubs such as Smoke Jazz and Minton's, and collaborated with artists including Joe Magnarelli and Steve Nelson. Meyerson also teaches at the Jazz at Lincoln Center and Jazz House Kids.
