Biography

Menkoina Tohoku, a Japanese Jâpop idol group founded in 2025, emerged from a public audition held at Sendai MACANA on 29â¯Aprilâ¯2025. Former Kepatte Tohoku members Kanon Naruse, Rena Amano and Seira Mizuki were selected. Later, Yumeko Konno, Mona Suzukaze and Karin Mizutani were joined. The group debuted with the original single "Menkoi Love" released on 14â¯Februaryâ¯2026, followed by "ikuccha!menkoinaTOHOKU" on 25â¯Marchâ¯2026, "Menkoi Love" on 14â¯Februaryâ¯2026, and "Tohoku Love Soul" (Menkoi Ver.) on 26â¯Marchâ¯2026. Their debut EP Menkoi Love launched on 29â¯Aprilâ¯2026, and subsequent releases such as "ikuccha!menkoinaTOHOKU " and "Tohoku Love Soul (Menkoi Ver.)ï½ 6âmember edition" reinforced their regional identity. The group performed across the six Tohoku prefectures, participated in Tohoku Ouen Project tours, and appeared on the Kepatte Tohoku online video platform channel and related radio programs, cementing their presence in the regional idol scene.
