MC Leozinho ZS (Alex Oliveira Santos) is a Brazilian funk MC from Capão Redondo and Jardim Ãngela in São Pauloâs Zona Sul who has been blind since he was eight months old and built his name around âfunk consciente/funk visãoâ lyrics about everyday life in the quebrada. His first widely credited releases landed in 2020 with singles such as âCoração Gelado,â âDesigualdade,â and âRonco do Trovãoâ featuring MC Neguinho do Kaxeta, alongside large cast tracks like âHomenagem aos RelÃquias.â In 2021 he expanded his presence through collaborative releases in the São Paulo funk circuit, including â180â with MC Dricka, MC Hariel and DJ Victor and the multi-artist EP âHit do Ano - O Peso da Luta,â while continuing his own singles run. In 2022, he kept that pace with tracks such as âJacaré no Peitoâ featuring MC Lemos and Oldilla and âErra quem querâ with MC Lele JP, a collaboration that drew major attention in profiles of the Zona Sul scene; around the same cycle, songs like âVários Abandonaâ reinforced his identity as a writer focused on social reality rather than party-only themes. By 2024, he was the subject of a Billboard Brasil feature on his trajectory in funk and his writing process. In 2025, he consolidated the era with the GR6 Music live project Maestro Das Favelas (Ao Vivo), which includes his best-known recent recording âHistória de um Amigo Meu (Ao Vivo)â with MC Neguinho do Kaxeta, and he continued releasing new singles such as âSonhar à Bomâ later that year.
