Leandro Aparecido Ferreira, known professionally as MC Fioti, was born on August 30, 1994, in Itapecerica da Serra, São Paulo, Brazil. He is a rapper and singer specializing in funk carioca and funk paulista. Fioti's breakthrough came in 2016 with the release of his single âVai Tomaâ, which he recorded with MC Pikachu. This collaboration gained significant traction on social media, marking the beginning of his rise to prominence. Following this initial success, Fioti released a series of singles, including âCachaçaâ (2016), âClimatizarâ (2016), and later âMexi-Kuâ (2017). One of his most notable collaborations came with the remix of âBum Bum Tam Tamâ (2017), which featured Future, J Balvin, Stefflon Don, and Juan Magán. This version became his biggest hit to date, with the original song accumulating over 1.3 billion views on streaming video services. In January 2021, Fioti released a video for âBum Bum Tam Tam (Remix Vacina Butantan)â, filmed at the Instituto Butantan in honor of their work on the CoronaVac vaccine.
