Gabriel da Costa Hildebrand, known professionally as MC GH Original, is a Brazilian funk vocalist and songwriter whose rise from local baile edits to national playlists has been marked by a series of high-energy, collaboration-heavy releases. His earliest material appeared in 2023 with the single “A Fonte” featuring Biazotto, a minimal, sub-driven production that hinted at his paredão sound and straightforward delivery. In late 2024, he teamed up with DJ Yago for “Chapa,” expanding his reach across São Paulo’s growing funk-conscious DJ circuit. The following year, GH Original broke through with “Momentinho Privê,” a posse track recorded alongside MC Willian, TrapLaudo, DJ Guh Mix, MC Negão Original, and MC IG, which circulated widely through dance edits and remixes. The momentum culminated in “Vai Tomando Pock Pock,” a joint release with MC Lele JP, MC Leozinho ZS, MC Menor ZL, MC Meno K, and DJ Gordinho da VF, included on Lele JP’s album Chatão and credited with millions of streams across streaming platforms.
