Biography

MC NegÃ£o Original, born JoÃ£o Vitor Ribeiro Marcelino Guido, is a Brazilian funk artist from SÃ£o Pauloâs East Zone. His early story connects the realities of the cityâs periphery with a later turn toward faith and music, before he began recording funk tracks with support from his manager. After building his name through singles and collaborations, he released his debut album, EspaÃ§o de Voz, in 2024, introducing a direct style shaped by street narratives, favela imagery, and productions by names such as DJ Guh Mix and Caio Passos. In 2025, he followed with A Nata de Tudo â A Ovelha Negra, a breakthrough project that strengthened his place in SÃ£o Paulo funk through tracks including âMedley de IgaratÃ¡ 4â and âA Nata.â Later that year, MC NegÃ£o Original issued VizinhanÃ§a do Bigode through Warner Music Brasil, a 14-track album with nine new songs and collaborations with MC Ryan SP, Vulgo FK, and MC Kelvinho, promoted with a series of videos shot in a specially built neighborhood set. The project included âBig Shein,â âJuliana,â and âMedley de IgaratÃ¡ 6.â He closed 2025 with NegÃ£o no Love â Ariano, a 21-track album that leaned further into romantic funk and featured contributors including MC Ryan SP, Vulgo FK, Mc GP, Mc Dena, MC Jvila, and Marquinho no Beat. In 2026, he appeared alongside MC JacarÃ©, MC Lele JP, and DJ Japa NK on âCarnÃvoro,â then released the 18-track album CadÃª o NegÃ£o?, continuing his rapid run of full-length projects on Warner Music Brasil.
