Matheus Wallace Mendonça da Cruz, born 3 January 2001 in Sãoâ¯Paulo, Sãoâ¯Paulo, Brazil, is a Brazilian rapper and singer known professionally as MCâ¯Donâ¯Juan. He began performing at age eleven, and at fourteen in 2015 he adopted his stage name and released his first national hit, "Me Amarro na Noite", which gained wide attention through a KondZillaâproduced video. In 2016 he followed up with the single "Oh Novinha", which entered the streaming charts in Brazil and was featured in the television series Aâ¯Forçaâ¯doâ¯Querer; the track accumulated over 75â¯million views on YouTube. The artist continued to release singles such as "Aâ¯Genteâ¯Brigou" and "Leiâ¯doâ¯Retorno" (the latter featuring MCâ¯Hariel) before launching his debut EP Summer (EPâ¯1) on 5â¯Novemberâ¯2021, followed by Summer (EPâ¯2) on 26â¯Novemberâ¯2021. His debut studio album, Vouâ¯Além, was issued on 8â¯Mayâ¯2020, and in Septemberâ¯2022 he released 7â¯Chaves. In Februaryâ¯2024 he added Asâ¯Melhoresâ¯doâ¯MCâ¯Donâ¯Juan to his catalog. 2025 saw the release of Nem Aà Pra Nada, a 12-track album produced and directed by Warner Music Brasil and GR6 that brought in guest appearances from MC Luuky, MC Brinquedo, MC Kadinho, MC Muka, MC Davi and Allan, with production credits including DJ Kotim, DJ Felipe Maia, DJ Kaioken and Trapaulo.
