MC Cebezinho, born Wesley Barbosa de Souza, emerged as a powerful voice from the outskirts of São Paulo, growing up in the Cidade Tiradentes neighborhood of the cityâs eastern zone from the age of four. He began his journey in music at 17, using his lyrics to vividly portray the daily struggles and triumphs of life in the favela. His raw and authentic storytelling quickly resonated with fans, earning him a loyal following. MC Cebezinhoâs music draws inspiration from his lived experiences, capturing the essence of the streets while offering a message of resilience and hope. Through his work, he has become not just a singer, but a representative of the realities faced by many in Brazilâs ghettos, turning his personal journey into anthems for those who share his background. After making his debut in 2017 with the single "Pega o Beco," he quickly inserted himself in the thriving funk paulista scene, collaborating with MC GP on 2020's "O Crime Não é Bombom" and KayBlack on 2021's "Começo das Ideias" before dropping his debut album Já Me Sentà Só in 2023.
