Biography

Märtini Brös, a German electronic music group from Berlin, was formed in 1998 as an offshoot of the DJ crew Martini Brothers. The group gained initial recognition with their electronic rendition of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera Don Giovanni at E-Werk in Berlin. This performance marked their breakthrough moment and led to a collaboration with DJ Clé under the name Märtini Brös. Their debut album, Pläy, was released in 2002 on Steve Bug’s Poker Flat label and achieved significant success. This was followed by Love the Machines in 2004 and in 2011, they transitioned to the Mole Listening Pearls label with their album Moved by Mountains. Notable singles include "Material Love" (1998), "Flash." (2002), and "Love the Machine" (2004). In 2013, the group changed its name to Maertini Broes.
