Biography

Martin Martini and the Bone Palace Orchestra were an Australian musical group formed in Melbourne. Known for blending rock'n'roll, jazz, blues, show-tunes, cabaret, and comedy, the band featured Martin Martini on keys and vocals, Natasha Rose on guitar, and James Macaulay on trombone, among others. The group released their debut album Live at the Famous Rainbow Hotel in 2005, followed by Dream Until You Die in 2006 and We're All Just Monkeys in 2008. They also performed live extensively, including a notable tap spectacular by Martin Martini at the Famous Spiegeltent during the Adelaide Fringe Festival in March 2006. They played at prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House and London's Soho Theatre, and were the house band for the Melbourne Comedy Festival. The group was also nominated for a Green Room award.
