Marie-Ange Leurent is a French organist, composer, and teacher born on March 24, 1965, in Hyères. She studied piano at the Conservatoire national de région de Rueil-Malmaison and organ at the Conservatoire national de région de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. Leurent received a first prize in organ from the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris in 1992. At age 22, she became the titular organist of the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette church in Paris. Leurent performed internationally and recorded with Ãric Lebrun. Her discography included the complete organ works of Alexandre-Pierre-François Boëly, Dietrich Buxtehude, Gaston Litaize, and Johann Sebastian Bach. In 2006, she and Lebrun received the Grand Prix du Disque. Her compositions included Les proverbes en musique (2015) and Les Tables de multiplication en chansons (2019). Leurent taught at the Université Paris-Sorbonne and the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris.
