Mameshiba no Taigun, stylized as MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, is a Japanese girl idol group formed through the reality survival show Monster Idol, which aired on TBS Television's variety show Wednesday's Downtown in 2019. The group debuted on December 19, 2019, with "Restart" following their formation on December 18, 2019. Initially consisting of Hanae, Nao, Aika, and Miyuki, the lineup expanded to include Kaede on December 25, 2019. Their second single, "Rocket Start", and third single, "DaijÅbu Sunrise", were released together on March 4, 2020. The group's debut studio album Start was initially scheduled for May 13, 2020, but was delayed to June 10 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They made their major debut with the triple A-side single "AAA" under Avex Trax on October 7, 2020. On December 30, 2020, they became one of four recipients of the New Artist Award at the 62nd Japan Record Awards. In January 2024, Mameshiba no Taigun ceased activities after merging with Tonai Bousho to form Mameshiba no Taigun Tonai Bousho a.k.a. MonsterIdol. On January 8, 2025, the group resumed activities with the final lineup of Mameshiba no Taigun Tonai Bousho a.k.a. MonsterIdol returning as members and the re-addition of former member Hanaemonster. In 2025, they released the single album Mame3 (è±3), following in November, with the album No Bean, No Bark.
