Biography

Monchai Raksachat, known professionally as Maithai Huajaisin, was born on January 8, 1968, in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. He grew up in Kalasin Province and began his music career in 1994 as the lead vocalist of the Mor lam band Sieng Isan, using the stage name Maithai Uraiporn. With Lookplare Uraiporn, Saeng-arun Bunyu, and Ratchada Phalaphon, he released several albums including Mor Lam Dao Rung and Phee Mar Thee Lang. In 2003, his song "See Her in Germany" gained significant popularity on Thai social media. Maithai Huajaisin signed with GMM Grammy in 2008, releasing five original albums under the stage name Maithai Jaitawan before leaving the label in 2012. He then joined Topline Diamond and adopted his current stage name, Maithai Huajaisin. Notable releases include Bao Phan Phuen Mueang (2007) and Bor Mee Sith Nuei (2010).
