Lunae was a Spanish pop group, composed of Tessa, Elena Gadel, and Marey. The trio emerged from the reality show talent contest Operación Triunfo, which aired on Spain's TVE network. Their debut single "Hipnotizadas" was released in the summer of 2003 and became a minor summertime hit across Spain. Produced by Xenomania, the song was featured in a Pringles advertisement tie-in. In September 2003, Lunae released their debut album Olor a Nuevo, which included 13 tracks, three of them in English, and a collaboration with Enrique Anaut. Their second single "Viva Otra Vez" was released in January 2004. By March 2004, the band members began working on separate projects but continued to perform together until April 2005. Elena Gadel confirmed the end of Lunae in July 2005.
