Los K Morales, the Colombian vallenato duo formed by brothers Kanner and Keyner Morales, emerged in 2005 to honor the musical legacy of their late brother Kaleth Morales and their father Miguel Morales. Their debut album, Seguimos con lo Nuestro (2006), introduced hits like "La Misma Mujer" and "Ãnica," earning them the Breakthrough of the Year award at the Premios Luna. Their sophomore effort, Reflejo (2008), featured standout tracks such as "Acróstico" and "Que No Muera Este Amor." After a brief hiatus, they returned with El Gran Regreso (2012), which included the heartfelt single "Nadie lo Esperaba" and a tribute disc to Kaleth. In 2015, they released Vencedores, showcasing songs like "Tas de Chercha" and "Un Beso Tuyo." Their 2017 single "El Fulano," featuring Omar Geles, became a national success and led them to represent Colombia at the Viña del Mar Festival in 2018, marking the first time a vallenato group participated in the event. In 2023, they unveiled their fifth studio album, Se Subió la Nota, a collection of 11 tracks blending traditional vallenato with contemporary sounds, including songs like "Ya No Somos Nada" and "2 AM." Continuing their momentum, they released the live album 2K05 (Live Session) in December 2024, reaffirming their commitment to evolving the genre while honoring their family's musical heritage.
