Lorien Testard is a French composer specializing in video game music, best known for the soundtrack to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which has spawned a series of releases since 2024. In 2020, Lorien Testard composed a sound illustration album, Fantastic and Emotional Game Music Pack, conceived as a video game soundtrack. The digitally released project was followed two weeks later by a short five-track EP in the classic crossover style, Island Life. After four years in the studio, Lorien Testard is commissioned by Sandfall Interactive to compose the soundtrack for the video game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and all its developments. The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Reveal Edition EP was released on June 10, 2024, followed by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Cast Reveal Edition (October 17, 2024) and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Gustave Edition (January 24, 2025). The classical, epic style of the compositions generates excitement on social networks and listening platforms, before the April 24, 2025 release of the album Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which invests the soundtrack and classical music charts, reaching supreme position on the Billboard Classical and Classical Crossover charts in May 2025. July 2025 saw the release of the follow-up album Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Nos Vies en Lumière. Among the most popular tracks are "Lumière" and "Alicia".
