Biography

Anna Kumble, known professionally as Lolly, was born on June 27, 1978, in Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom. She is a British singer who began her career as a model before transitioning into the music industry. Lolly debuted on the British pop scene in 1999 with the release of her first single "Viva La Radio". This was followed by additional Top 20 singles and two albums within her initial two-year music career. Her debut album My First Album was released in 1999. In 2000, she released the album Pick 'n' Mix, which included notable tracks such as "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "Per Sempre Amore (Forever In Love)". After leaving Polydor Records in 2001, Lolly reverted to her real name and began a career in television presenting. She has worked for the BBC on programs like Xchange and for Nickelodeon. Additionally, she has acted in West End productions such as Starlight Express at the Apollo Victoria Theatre and played Priscilla Presley in Elvis at the Prince of Wales Theatre. In 2018, her first two albums were released digitally, followed by a new single "Stay Young and Beautiful" in October of that year. Her follow-up single "Paper Rain" was released in 2020.
