LOCAL CONNECT is a five-member rock band from Nagaokakyo, Kyoto, formed in 2006 under a different name before becoming LOCAL CONNECT in 2015. With dual vocalists ISATO and Daiki, and a sound blending energetic guitar-driven rock and emotional melodies, the band gained national recognition through their debut mini-album Kako Tsunagu Mirai (2015), which featured âShiawase no Arikaâ (2015) as the ending theme for the anime Ore Monogatari!!. They followed with 7RAILS in 2016 and a sold-out national tour. In 2017, they signed with Warner Music Japan and released the single âStarlight,â which served as the theme song for TV and sports programs. Their third mini-album Mikansei came out in 2017, with âROADâ used as an ending theme for Super Soccer. After extensive touring and festival appearances, including KANSAI LOVERS, the band shifted to self-management in 2018. LOCAL CONNECT released their first full-length album NEW STEP in 2019 and performed the national anthem at a professional baseball game in Osaka. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they continued releasing music, including the single âChiisana Heya de.â In 2022, they dropped their second full album Zettaiteki Yokan and completed a successful national tour. Their best album Youth (2025) marks a return with renewed energy and focus.
