Liv Warfield, born Olivia Warfield on July 10, 1979, in Peoria, Illinois, is an American R&B singer. She began her career with the self-released album Embrace Me in 2006. Her breakthrough came in 2009 when Prince invited her to join his band New Power Generation after seeing a video of her performing "Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones. Warfield released her second solo album, The Unexpected, in early 2014, with Prince as Executive Producer; he also wrote the single "The Unexpected" for the album. In 2016, she formed Roadcase Royale with Nancy Wilson of Heart, releasing their debut album First Things First on September 22, 2017. Warfield auditioned for season 19 of America's Got Talent, receiving the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell.
