Biography
Born on 24 August 2000 in Jing County, Anhui, multi-talented Chinese C-pop singer, dancer, and model Liu Yu (Chinese: åå®) rose to fame after finishing first on the final episode of Chinese idol show Produce Camp 2021 and was subsequently inducted as a member of the Chinese project boy group INTO1. The group put out three EPs before disbanding in April 2023. Meanwhile, Liu Yu made his acting debut in the Chinese television series Dear Herbal Lord in 2020 and debuted as a solo artist that November with "Docked". In February 2022, he performed his single "ææ²³å
¥å¤¢" ("Galaxy Dream") at the Spring Festival Gala to welcome the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and released his first EP, æ³å¶å(Willow-leaf Saber), also in 2022. 2022 was a stellar year for Liu Yu who also won the awards for Versatile Singer and Best Male Singer at the CCTV Dream Chinese Music Singing Center. 2023 saw the release of the "CHUNHUI" ("æ¥æ") single.
