Lincoln Durham is an American singer and one-man-band musician from Whitney, Texas. He began playing the fiddle at age four, winning the Texas State Youth Fiddle Championship by ten. Inspired by Nirvana, Durham took up the electric guitar in high school before switching to acoustic and slide guitars under the mentorship of Ray Wylie Hubbard. Durham released his debut EP in March 2010, followed by his first full-length album, The Shovel vs. The Howling Bones, in 2012. Produced by Ray Wylie Hubbard and George Reiff at the Finishing School studio in Austin, Texas, the album showcased Durham's eclectic instrumentation, which included a birdfeeder and oil pans. Subsequent albums included Exodus of the Deemed Unrighteous (2013), Revelations of a Mind Unraveling (2016), and And Into Heaven Came the Night (2018).
