LGYankees is a Japanese hip-hop unit formed in 2000 by HIRO and RYO. In January 2006, they released their first album " JOINTED 2 HOMIES ", which did well on the indie charts. 2007, they changed their name to LGYankees and HIRO founded the label "No Doubt Tracks". In April 2008, DJ No.2 joined the group and made his major label debut with the single " Dear Mama feat. Kazumasa Oda/Eternal " on May 9 of the same year. The album " NO DOUBT!!!! -RYO left the group in December 2009, and DJ No.2 also left in 2014. In 2019, HIRO released a solo album " RE-VENGE " under the name LGY. 2023, RYO returned to the group after 15 years and resumed activities with HIRO. and resumed their activities together.
