Biography

Les Déménageurs is a Belgian folk-rock group whose repertoire is mainly in French, written for children aged three and over. Their first album, Lili et les Escargots (Lili and the Snails ), was released in 2003, and featured stories by the Stoul brothers, Georges, Nelson and their sister Lili. In 2006, just after Le Grand Carton(released in 2005), Les Déménageurs won the Octaves de la Musique "show/concert of the season" award. The following year saw them offer their young audience the album Les Déménageurs en Concert, available on both CD and DVD. The following album, Le Patamodd, was another great success in 2009, consolidating the group's place on the children's music scene. It took another five years to find a successor, in this case Danse avec les Gnous (Racines Carrées), released in 2014. This was followed in 2017 by La Petite Aventure. In 2023, Les Déménageurs embark on a tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary, during which they offer a special "best of" formula for festivals and open-air concerts.
