Biography
Lenny Valentino was a Polish dream pop band from MysÅowice, formed in 1998. The group's primary songwriter and vocalist was Artur Rojek of Myslovitz, with Mietall WaluÅ on bass, MichaÅ Koterba on guitar, and Wojciech Kuderski on drums completing the initial lineup. Named after the British band The Auteurs' song "Lenny Valentino," the group underwent several personnel changes before releasing their debut album Uwaga! Jedzie tramwaj in November 2001 under Sissy Records/BMG Poland. The album received positive reviews and won an MTV Poland award. Following a tour of Poland, Lenny Valentino disbanded in December 2001. Members pursued other projects, including Rojek continuing with Myslovitz and WaluÅ focusing on Negatywâs debut album Paczatarez. In 2006, the band reunited for a performance at Off Festival in their hometown of MysÅowice.
