Lee Stephen Mead, born on July 14, 1981, in the United Kingdom, is a singer and actor known for his roles in musical theatre and television. Mead's early career began with performances as a cruise ship singer and at Bridlington Spa Theatre before transitioning to musical theatre in 2004. His breakthrough came through the BBC TV casting show Any Dream Will Do, where he won the title role in the West End revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Following his victory, Mead released a charity single featuring "Any Dream Will Do" and "Close Every Door", which reached number 2 on the official UK singles chart.
