Biography

Lee Burridge (born November 1968 in Eype, Dorset) is a British DJ who began his career operating a mobile DJ service before securing a residency at The Palace in Somerset. His first breakthrough came in the early 1990s when he moved to Hong Kong, where he played at Joe Banana’s and helped establish Neptune’s, bringing UK rave sounds to the colony. In 1998 he released the Deeper Shades of Hooj: Volume Two mix, followed by the Metropolis compilation in 1999 and the Global Underground: Nubreed 005 mix in 2001. Burridge’s debut EP, Lost & Found, appeared the same year, and he later issued singles such as "24:7" (2003) and "Raw Dog" (2007). His collaborations with Craig Richards produced the Tyrant mix (2000) and "No Shoes, No Cake" (2002). In 2011 he founded the All Day I Dream imprint, launching the Here's Johnny EP (2011) and a touring festival that gained a global following. Burridge has performed at Burning Man, appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix in 2015 and 2019, and in 2021 launched the All Day I Dream in Waves off‑shoot.
