Joo Hoon-jeong, known as KOREANGROOVE, is a Korean rapper and producer born on May 3, 1995, in Seoul. He debuted in 2016 with the EP GROOVY DAY under the stage name Groovy. Later, he changed his stage name to KOREANGROOVE. He officially started his full-length career with YAGWANG 2, an album featuring collaborations with artists such as The Quiett, Don Sign., Chamane, Make A Movie, Lil Poet, Boo Hyunseok, Dawn Dox, and ZENE THE ZILLA. Since then, he has steadily released albums like FLASH, WHITE GROOVE, RED GROOVE, and BLACK GROOVE, establishing his distinctive musical style. His track "PRVDA (feat. NO:EL)" from the full album ENERGY, released on October 13, 2025, entered Melonâs Top 500 chart at number 5 on the day of its release.
