Biography

Kol Oud Tof Trio is an Israeli musical group that specializes in Middle Eastern music. The trio consists of Esti Kenan-Ofri, an Italy-born soprano; Armand Sabach, an oud player specializing in Arabic music; and percussionist Oren Fried. Their name translates to "Voice, Oud, Drum" in Hebrew, reflecting the core instruments of their sound. The group's music blends religious Jewish poetry in Hebrew, traditional Sephardic songs in HaketÃa and Arabic, and baqqashot. They released their debut album Gazelle in 2002, followed by De Veinticinco escalones in 2009.
