Kim So-jung (born June 2, 1989) is a South Korean singer who first gained recognition in 2010 by competing in Superstar K2, where she advanced to the Top 11. During the competition, she performed a remake of Lee Ji-yeon's "Stop the Wind" but was eliminated before reaching the Top 8. Kim, who graduated from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), officially began her music career in 2012 with the single "Herrah's". Prior to her debut, she contributed to soundtracks for dramas such as Playful Kiss, Caffeine, Queen In-hyun's Man, and Shining Romance. In 2011, she collaborated with H-Eugene on "Memories Are Thrown Away" for the project album New Story Part. 3. Following her debut single, she released "BLAP" in August 2012 and "Dance Music" in 2015.
