Biography

KIM MINCHEOL & HAYATE are a South Korean hip hop and hyperpop duo composed of vocalist-rappers Kim Min-cheol (born June 10, 1998) and Hayate (born April 27). They officially debuted on January 12, 2023, with their first full-length album NETFLEX, marking the start of their collaborative journey in Koreaâs underground and experimental music scene. The duo went on to release the EPs + and - in June 2023 as part of the Parallel Album Project, highlighting their innovative approach to genre-blending. They also participated in SM Entertainmentâs iScreaM remix project with iScreaM Vol.27: Baggy Jeans Remixes (2023), reinterpreting NCT Uâs track âBaggy Jeans.â In 2024, they continued to expand their discography with the single "HOW TO LOVE?", followed by the release of "BROKEN NAIL" in August 2025.
