Biography
Kenedy, nicknamed the "Diamond of Zouk", is a singer from Guadeloupe. Born in Abymes into a music-loving family from Basse-Terre, she was immersed in a musical environment from an early age. From the age of 6, she was performing on stage, joining the groups "Légende" and then "Liaison". In 1996, she recorded her first album, Lovans , which raised her profile in Guadeloupe and enabled her to collaborate with artists such as David et Corinne, Kaysha and Organiz. The singles " Dadou " and " J'ai mis du temps " made her a household name. Her albums Mon Oasis and Entre toi et moi, produced by DeejaySlam, strengthened her presence in the music industry. In 2012, she showed herself in a new light with the track " Fallin' in love ", co-composed with Daly and Mister Francky, with the participation of Ali Angel. In 2013, the Femmes Fatales concept invited her to share a featuring with Lylah on the single " Femmes Fatales 3 ", which met with real success. After the track " à la folie ", produced by DeejaySlam, Kenedy realized her wish to create her own music label, XVXV Avenue. In January 2017, she presented the single " ECHO ", followed in June 2017 by " BYE BYE " featuring Keros-n, produced by Matt Houston. Since then, Kenedy continues to be involved in music production and artist promotion through her label, while pursuing her artistic career.
