KASINO, a Brazilian eurodance group founded in 2003 in Rio de Janeiro by producer Fabio Almeida and Ian Duarte, emerged from a studio project that quickly gained national attention. Their breakthrough came with the single "Can't Get Over" in 2005, which entered Rede Globo soap opera soundtracks and became a radio hit, ranking 18th most played in Southern Brazil and 6th in Northern Brazil between January and March 2006. During its first run (2003â2009), KASINO operated like a classic eurodance machineâhooky choruses, glossy synths, and a hard four-on-the-floorâwhile changing its public âfaceâ from Fher Cassini to Bo Anders as the project evolved. In the 2010s, they briefly returned with new material, including the comeback single "So Free" (2014), before another pause; a later public clarification from the founders also reshaped the story of the early hits by confirming Fabio Almeida as the principal recorded voice on key releases while the frontman role was often performance/visual. In the 2020s, KASINO reactivated in a more consistent way with "Get Down" (2022), then moved into a steady release cycle that included the album Legacy Of Love (2023) and a stream of new singles and updates, with 2024â2026 focusing heavily on new tracks plus anniversary-minded reworks of "Canât Get Over" (multiple remixes), alongside fresh titles like "People," "Collide," "The Future," "Sunrise," "Can U Hear Me," and "MEGA SHAKE IT."
