Biography

Kaori KÃ´zai is a Japanese vocalist who sings in the traditional enka style. Enka singers enjoy enormous popularity in Japan and regularly play to significant numbers of fans during their live performances. KÃ´zai was born in Osaka in 1963 and her contribution to enka music was rewarded when she won 'Best Vocalist' at the 42nd Japan Record Awards.
