Kaia Lana is the stage name of Daniela Soberón, a Mexican singer-songwriter from Mexico City whose music draws on Latin pop, alternative pop, R&B and singer-songwriter balladry. She began studying guitar and voice as a teenager, later continued her education in Switzerland and France, and auditioned for Berklee College of Music while living in Paris before specializing in professional music. After returning to Mexico, she started writing and recording her own material and signed with Warner Music México, releasing her debut single âUn Momento Solosâ in 2019. In 2020, Kaia Lana appeared on the all-star charity version of âResistiréâ alongside artists including Aida Cuevas, Belinda, Gloria Trevi, Ha-Ash, Lila Downs, Paty Cantú and Ximena Sariñana, then continued with singles such as âMiedo,â âTodo Pasa,â âSe me olvidó olvidarteâ and âPlayita en tu marâ with César Pinzón. Her early releases were gathered on Singles Table and Singles Table (Deluxe) in 2021. After further singles including âVolver A Empezar,â âDejarte Me Lo Debo A MÃâ and âCuatro Paredes,â she released the album Estudio A in 2024 through Warner Music México, featuring âAcapulco En La Azoteaâ with Caztro and âChiquitaâ with Paty Cantú. In 2025, she continued with âBala Perdida,â âNunca másâ and âCaminos.â In 2026, Kaia Lana released âEl Amor De Mi Vida,â followed by âTres Minutos Contigoâ and the album Crónica De Un Desamor Anunciado through Promotodo México / OCESA Seitrack.
