Biography

Jun Sung Ahn, born 안준성 on February 18, 1993, in South Korea and raised in West Windsor, New Jersey, is a classically trained violinist known for his K-pop covers. He began playing the violin in fifth grade and started posting covers of pop songs on YouTube under the pseudonym Jun Curry Ahn in July 2011. His breakthrough came with a dance and violin cover of Psy's "Gangnam Style" in July 2012, which garnered over 2.4 million views. In September 2013, he interned at Mnet America. Jun Sung Ahn performed at KCON in Los Angeles in August 2014 and 2015, and released the parody K-pop song "Dong Saya Dae" with BgA in May 2016. He also covered BTS's "Save Me" during his performances at KCON New York and Los Angeles.
