Haven, an English indie rock band formed in Cornwall in 1996, consisted of Gary Briggs on vocals and guitar, Nathan Wason on guitar, Iwan Gronow on bass, and Jack Mitchell on drums. The band initially went by the name Blew before changing it to Haven. Their career began when Gary Briggs moved to Cornwall and met Nathan Wason in a record shop in Penzance. Haven's first release was the Til The End EP in May 2001. Their breakthrough came with the top 75 hit "Let It Live" and the number 24 single "Say Something". Their debut album Between The Senses was released in February 2002, reaching number 26 in the UK Albums Chart. A second album, All For A Reason, followed in March 2004. Haven faced challenges when their record label merged with another and they were unable to complete a third album. This led to their release from the recording contract and subsequent disbandment in 2006. After a hiatus, Haven reformed for a one-off gig at Night & Day in Manchester in December 2021, with all profits going to the Christie Hospital.
