Biography
Hailing from Brussels, the self-described "comico-surrealist" Belgian chanson duo have been touring the country since 2009, after winning the French springboard competition Vive la Reprise. In the years that followed, their funny, poetic world of electronic machines, accordions, guitars, flutes, percussion, lampshades, jars and pigs garnered numerous other awards. After winning the 2010 Biennale de la Chanson française (Belgium), the duo went on to win the 2012 Le Mans Cité Chanson competition (France) and the 2013 Médaille d'Or de la Chanson Public Prize (Switzerland). They also won the Prix du Public Georges Moustaki 2015 (France) and the Prix du Public for the "Caravane" video at the VKRS 2022 festival (Belgium). However, Jules & Jo have not forgotten to build up a discography, starting in 2011 with Le Trophée, continuing in 2015 with Pouvoir aux Roux, before releasing Chaise de Jardin in 2020.
