Biography

JosÃ© Manuel Figueroa, Jr. was born on May 15, 1975, in Juliantla, Mexico and is a singer known for his contributions to Regional Mexican music. He began his musical career in 1995 with the album Expulsado del ParaÃso, which sold over 300,000 units. Figueroa followed this success with albums such as JosÃ© Manuel Figueroa (1998) and Mala Hierba (1999). In 2002, he released A Caballo, which included songs by his father, Joan Sebastian, and JosÃ© Alfredo JimÃ©nez. His subsequent releases include Inmortal (2004) and Rosas y Espinas (2013). Figueroa also ventured into acting, debuting in the miniseries Por siempre Joan Sebastian in 2016, where he portrayed his father, Joan Sebastian.
