Biography

Joe Stump, born Joseph Stump on September 18, 1960 in the United States of America, is an American guitarist and composer known for his neoclassical metal style. He began his career as a shred guitarist, gaining recognition for his technical prowess and speed. In 1994, Joe released his debut solo album Night Of The Living Shred, followed by Supersonic Shred Machine in 1996. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, he continued to release albums such as Rapid Fire Rondo (1998), 2001: A Shred Odyssey (2001). Joe Stump has also been a member of several bands, including Reign of Terror. He was ranked sixth by Guitar One magazine as one of the fastest guitarists of all time.
