Biography

Established in 1996, Jim Murple Memorial offers an infusion of ska, rocksteady and rhythm and blues that's far from fashionable. The Parisian collective, led by singer (and trumpeter) Nanou, underwent a number of musician changes and the death of one of their own, bassist Fabrice Lombardo, in 2003, before reaching its seventh album, A La Recherche d'Un Son Perdu, released in 2010.
