Jaxx & Vega, a German electronic music duo consisting of Marvin Chilla and Janis Rothenburger, formed in 2014. The duo initially gained recognition through their remakes and bootlegs on platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud. Their first official release was a remix for Housegeist's "Make Some Noise" in October 2014, followed by their debut single "Blizzard" in December of the same year. In 2015, they signed with Bonerizing Records and released several singles, including "Raise Up" and "Blade," which charted on Beatport. Notable collaborations include working with W&W, Tiësto, and Hardwell. In 2017, Jaxx & Vega performed at major festivals such as BigCityBeats World Club Dome and Open Beatz Festival. They signed with Rave Culture in 2019 and released their album Rave Time (W&W Edit) in September 2022.
