Francisco Javier Cárdenas Pérez, known professionally as Javier Cárdenas, is a Spanish singer, radio personality, and television presenter born on May 18, 1970, in Barcelona. He began his career at age nine on the radio program Peques. At age 16, he began broadcasting football matches and collaborated on the show Arús con leche. Cárdenas directed and presented the radio programs Segundos fuera and Atrévete. In 2004, he wrote, directed, and starred in the film FBI: Frikis buscan incordiar. That same year, he released his debut studio album, Siéntelo. Cárdenas received an Ondas Award in 2008 and an Antena de Oro award in 2015. He hosted the television programs El octavo mandamiento and Hora punta. In 2016, he organized a charity raffle of his home to raise funds for medical research.
