Biography
Punjabi pop and hip-hop dynamo Jassa Dhillon was born in Assandh, Haryana, India on 7 November 1995. He kicked off his career in 2019 with the single "Pyar Bolda," produced by Nav Sandhu and released via Brown Town Music. The follow-up "Jhanjar" also arrived in 2019 along with a string of other singles including "Gang Life" with Gur Sidhu and "Pistol" with Baani Sandhu. He dropped his debut album Above All in 2021 and the single "Talja" catapulted his career to new heights; the breakthrough song made it onto the UK Asian Music Chart and the Global YouTube weekly chart. He kept up the momentum in 2022 via the release of "Kajla" with Pavitar Lasoi, and "Yaad," which went to number 40 on the UK Asian Chart and number 14 on the UK Punjabi Chart. His second album Vibin landed in January 2022 followed by a slew of singles in 2023 including "Spain," which went to number 35 on the UK Asian Chart and "Pyaar Diya Gallan," which was produced by Deep Jandu.
