Biography
Jaa9 & OnklP is a Norwegian rap duo established in 2002. The group consists of Johnny Engdal Silseth and PÃ¥l Tøien who first performed as members of the rap collective Dirty Oppland. Their recording career began with the mixtape Bondegrammatikk â The Mixtape (2003). The ensemble reached wider visibility with the single "Kjendisparty" (2004) which reached number 2 on the VG-lista chart and the studio recording SjÃ¥re brymæ (2004) which reached number 3. Jaa9 & OnklP received the Alarmprisen for best hip hop album in 2005. They signed with the label Sony Music in 2008 and released the studio recording Sellout! (2009) which featured the single "Glir forbi". Their discography included the mixtape Bondedramatikk â En Gateplate (2008) and the studio recordings Lasse (2011) and Geir (2011). The ensemble released the studio recording Diskoteket er stengt (2013) and the studio recording Føkk ferie (2015). They released the studio recording Rake rør og tøffe tak (2022) and the single "Underdog" (2023).
