Biography

Ivan Gough, born Ivan Gough on May 19, 1969, in Australia, is a notable electronic music producer and DJ. Raised in Wonga Park, Melbourne, Gough's interest in music production began during his high school years at Yarra Valley Grammar after discovering cassette tape edits. His first release, a remix of Pendulum's "I Need You", became an instant club anthem, gaining traction with prominent DJs like Paul Oakenfold and Pete Tong. Gough released various tracks throughout the late 1990s and was influential in Melbourne's underground scene, working with Zero Tolerance recordings. In 2004, he formed TV Rock with Grant Smillie, touring with the Future Music Festival in 2010. Gough left TV Rock in early 2013 to pursue solo projects. His records have been featured by top DJs worldwide, including Sasha and Tiesto. Notable releases include "Someday" (co-written with Slinkee Minx), which reached number 55 on the ARIA Charts and number 9 on the ARIA Dance Charts in 2005. As TV Rock, Gough achieved significant chart success with hits like "Flaunt It", which became the highest-selling dance single by an Australian artist in 2006 and won two ARIA Awards. Other notable collaborations include "In My Mind" with Feenixpawl and co-producing tracks for Timmy Trumpet and Nervo.
