Iron Mind, a hardcore punk band from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2006 under the name Hold Up. Their music was inspired by the NYHC sound and became recognized as one of the most popular hardcore bands in Australia. In 2012, Iron Mind embarked on an Australian tour supporting their album Hell Split Wide Open (2011), alongside Backtrack and Terror, followed by shows in New Zealand later that year. Their second album, Iron Mind, was produced by Mike Deslandes and released in mid-January 2014 via Resist Records. The album notably reached number 15 on the ARIA Hitseekers â Albums Chart.
