Biography

Ingrid BjÃ¸rnov, born on December 5, 1963, is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, composer, text writer, and pianist. Her early career began with the duo Dollie, which she formed with Benedicte Adrian. Their debut album FÃ¸rste Akt was released in 1980 and won the prestigious Spellemannprisen award. The duo also represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984. BjÃ¸rnov's career expanded to include musicals such as Which Witch, which premiered in 1987, and Markus og Julie in 2007. She has authored books including Ingrid BjÃ¸rnovs pianobok (2005) and Lakse-enka â nÃ¸dskrik fra en tÃ¸rrflue (2007). Her notable achievements include the Leonard Statuette award in 2013.
