Biography

I Am Arrows, a British rock group formed in England in 2009, was founded by former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows, who also serves as lead vocalist and primary songwriter. Burrows left Razorlight in June 2009 and promptly signed with Universal Records, bringing together his younger brother Ben Burrows on bass and backing vocals, Adam Chetwood on lead guitar, Ben Chetwood on drums, and Nick Hill on guitar and backing vocals. The bandâs breakthrough came with the single "Green Grass", which entered the UK Singles Chart at Number 64 in August 2010 and earned BBC Radioâ¯2 recordâofâtheâweek status. In September 2010 the group released its debut album Sun Comes Up Again, reaching Number 38 on the UK Album Chart, and followed with a nineâdate UK tour and appearances at the Wickerman festival and Wembley Stadium supporting Muse. The single "Green Grass" also featured in the sitcom The Inbetweeners and the song "Nice Try" appeared in the film Friends with Benefits.
