Horacio Manuel Molina was an Argentine singer born on September 2, 1935, in Buenos Aires. He began his career in 1961 after signing with RCA Victor, initially performing bolero and bossa nova music. Molina appeared on the television program Sábados circulares and performed with Astor Piazzolla and Eladia Blázquez. In 1970, he worked as an entrepreneur at La Fusa, where he organized recitals for VinÃcius de Moraes and Chico Buarque. He dedicated himself to tango in 1975, recording with musicians including Antonio Agri and Fernando Suárez Paz under the direction of Oscar Cardozo Ocampo. Molina lived in France between 1978 and 1983. He represented Argentina at the Festival Internacional de la Canción OTI in 1992 with the song âLo vividoâ. A member of the Academia Nacional de Tango, his discography included Tango esencial (2006) and the compilation Mis 30 mejores canciones (2007). Molina died on September 11, 2018, in Buenos Aires.
